Sawdust Pie for club: BAKED

I’ve been sitting and sitting, wondering what to write about this pie.  And nothing is coming to me, mostly because I keep getting distracted by this thought:  I wish I had more pie!  In short, Sawdust Pie is over-the-top delicious.  Coconut, pecans, graham cracker crumbs, and white and semi-sweet chocolate pieces, all nestled in a buttery pie crust, and topped with sweet whipped cream and fresh banana slices.  It tasted like a chocolate chip cookie and a banana split all rolled into one!

Thanks to Tessa of Cookin’ Chemist for hosting this week’s recipe from Baked Explorations.  You can find the recipe on her blog by clicking HERE.  And be sure to visit the club: BAKED website to see more delicious pies!

  1. Your pie looks out of this world! Love the way you styled it with the bananas on top. Your photos look fantastic and make me regret I never got around to making this pie. I think I need to change that.

    Nicely done!
