A Pink and Gold Valentine’s Dinner

Over the weekend, we had our dear dinner club friends over for a fancy, early Valentine’s dinner.  I’ve been dying to do some pink and gold decorating, and our dinner party seemed like the perfect opportunity!

-marinated zucchini ribbons stuffed with ricotta, basil, pine nuts, and balsamic vinegar
-spring greens with roasted beets (heart-shaped, of course), fresh orange segments, pan fried goat cheese cakes, and citrus vinaigrette
-coq au vin served over garlic mashed potatoes
-lion house dinner rolls
-chocolate cheesecake
-berries and cream
-sugar cookies with pink frosting and gold sprinkles
It was a great party, and the food was among the best we’ve ever had at dinner club. It rivaled the best food I’ve ever had at the fanciest restaurant!
