  • 2 15-oz cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ⅔ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • juice from half a lime
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cover and simmer over medium heat until beans are tender and heated through, 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lime juice.
