I’m pretty lucky to be married to someone who makes a mean breakfast! I’m in charge of breakfast Monday through Friday, and it’s all cold cereal and smoothies and bagels with cream cheese. But when my husband takes over the kitchen on Saturday and Sunday mornings, we get scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, french toast, waffles, hashbrowns, bacon, pancakes, and more. One of our most requested weekend breakfasts is crepes. Sometimes we do simple crepes with butter and jam and powdered sugar, but if we ask very nicely and are very, very good, we get crepes with fresh, sliced strawberries, chocolatey Nutella, and sweet whipped cream–such a treat!
