In My Kitchen with Alix Adams

“I am a creator by nature, so you would think that all my crafting creativity would translate to my cooking?? Well, my craft projects certainly find their way into the kitchen (the tall counters make for a perfect workspace that little fingers can’t reach). Truth is, cooking up something with paint and paper comes more naturally to me, but that isn’t to say I don’t LOVE, I mean love love love, good food…like quality, flavorful (and often times expensive) food. Yep, eating is a favorite hobby of mine :). And because I’m not growing a money tree out back, I can’t eat out every night. So I push myself to try new recipes and perfect the ones I already know because a life without delicious food would make for dull crafting, you know!”

Alix Adams is the brain behind the glittery party that is A Ruffled Life. From the time she could hold a glue stick in her hand she has set out to make the world a better place with crafts, parties, and a little bit of ice cream.
