DIY Family Photo Clip Board

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and timeshel, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #timeshelprints http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV.

I used to be so good at printing family photos and putting them in albums. We have two and a half huge albums full of lovely family photos going right up until the birth of our second child–almost seven years ago. Our kids love to look at them, but I always get a little pang of guilt that I’m so far behind with really no time set aside to catch up.  But now, thanks to timeshel, I have no excuses not to be completely up-to-date on every birthday, every holiday, and every sweet little family moment in between.

timeshel is a subscription photo-printing service that lets you order prints directly from your phone using their free app (available for iOs in the Apple Store). There are two subscription levels to choose from: 10 prints every month for $5.95 a month (delivered in a cute envelope) or 30 prints for $14.95 (delivered in the shel). I went with the 30 print option since I have so much catching up to do! It’s so easy and convenient; I ordered my prints while I was putting the baby down for a nap. I ordered snapshots from Christmas morning, one from the pumpkin patch last Halloween, a few from the day we brought our littlest one home from the hospital, and more. I’ve already put most of them in an album, and can’t wait to add more moments each month.

I did leave a few photos out of the album for my kids to display in their bedrooms. I made them each a super quick, super cute family photo clip board that can sit on their dresser and hold whatever photo happens to be their favorite. And when they pick a new favorite, they can swap out photos and put the old ones in the album. I bought inexpensive mini chalkboard sandwich boards and colored clothespins from Michaels, hot glued them together, and voila! In five minutes a I had some darling little tabletop displays where the photos can be switched out easily, without having to deal with the back of a picture frame.

My kids are thrilled to have their own way to display photos in their bedrooms, and immediately pushed aside books, stuffed animals, and bottles of nail polish to make a spot on their dressers for their new timeshel prints!
