I’m so excited to share my brand new book, Farmhouse Christmas, with you! A few years ago, when I was talking to my publisher about new book ideas, I mentioned that I thought a Christmas book would be really fun to write. The conversation didn’t focus on that at all; it was just something I said and then the conversation moved on to other things. The book I was pitching to them was all about easy meals to help readers get dinner on the table on busy weeknights. That’s the meeting where Farmhouse Weeknights, which came out in July of 2025, was born.
But a funny thing happened. While I was knee-deep in creating the recipes, writing the manuscript, and taking the pictures for Farmhouse Weeknights, my editor reached out to me and said, “You know how in our meeting about Farmhouse Weeknights you said you’d love to do a Christmas book, too? Well we love that idea and we want it ASAP!”
As soon as I had Farmhouse Weeknights wrapped up on my end, long before it even hit shelves last summer, I jumped straight into holiday mode and started working on Farmhouse Christmas! I’ve basically spent the last 3 years working on books back-to-back. And now both books are out in the world and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
