Bread is my favorite part of pretty much every meal. I’m that person who insists on having some kind of bread product with every single dinner. Mexican food? Tortillas or, if you’re really lucky, sopapillas. Indian food? Naan. Mediterranean food? Flat bread. Sunday dinner? Momo’s rolls. Chili? Cornbread. Seafood? Garlic-Cheddar Biscuits. Yes, that’s right: Garlic-Cheddar Biscuits. You know the ones I’m talking about: fluffy, salty, studded with tiny pockets of cheddar cheese and covered in finger-lickin’ garlic butter. We do a big seafood boil every year for my husband’s birthday. Corn on the cob, new potatoes, kielbasa, crab legs, shrimp…the works. And these delicious little biscuit gems are the perfect bread product to go with our feast. They’d also go great with fried chicken, pot roast, and soup, just to name a few. A bread for every meal. Life is complete.
You can find the recipe for these yummy biscuits on my latest post for Julep. I also rounded up lots of fun ideas for how to plan and pull-off your own seafood boil, a perfect end-of summer bash!
