I have such a fun treat for you guys today—a giveaway!! And not just any giveaway—a giveaway of some of my favorite things, and the links to 10 other favorite things giveaways happening right now with some of my favorite bloggers. Last week, I wrote a blog post All About Hygge, the Danish idea of simple, cozy living that is the hottest trend of the year. Today, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite hygge necessities to give to one lucky reader! The prize box you could win includes a luxurious, hand-knit navy beany with the cutest pom pom on top; 3 pairs of cozy socks that I almost decided to keep for myself; a Balsam & Spice candle from Magnolia’s new Hearth & Hand line for Target (it smells amazing); my very favorite Portland Bee Balm chapstick; a cute mug for hot cocoa or coffee sipping; my favorite Stephen’s CandyCane Cocoa (not pictured because it threw off the photo!); a super soft, turquoise blanket scarf to snuggle up in; and a copy of my book, Scandinavian Gatherings, so that you can make gingersnaps and cardamom bread and spiced cider for the ultimate hygge experience. **This post contains affiliate links. 1. So fun!! We are planning to host 22 family members on my husbands side!! We have everyone bring a dish so we aren’t swamped with it all. 🙂

  2. We’re going to try and keep things simple this year, which can be difficult when you have a child from a separated household! We plan to go to my partner’s mother’s house, where all of our other loved ones will be as well. We usually try to volunteer somewhere as well, spreading the love is what the holidays are alllll about! And I have to admit, I get super excited to cook and bake for everyone, while they’re all excited to eat! 😛

  3. We’re hosting Thanksgiving in our home for the first time! Plans for the week include cleaning, rearranging furniture, and being up to our ears in mashed potatoes and apple pie. XD

  4. I’m not sure yet about Thanksgiving plans this year, which is strange….

I enjoyed helping my aunt host a summer solstice gathering of Norwegian friends back in June using your Scandinavian Gatherings book as inspiration!

  5. Going camping for Thanksgiving….it’ll probably rain the whole time but my children love it!!!

    Hi Melissa!!!!

      1. Doing wonderful!

Many congrats to you! I read your Rachel Ray post….your kitchen is amazing, your children are darling!

Your book is on my cmas wish list….so excited for it!

  6. Spending Thanksgiving at home with family. Love this giveaway! Thank you for the cardamom bread recipe, my grandmother used to make this for Christmas every year, everyone always looked forward to it!

  7. My husband’s family does Thanksgiving big! So we’re headed to VA and have family joining us from CA even! It’s gonna be one big party!

  8. Putting on my biggest hosting hat yet for my husband’s parents, his sister and her two girls! Should be an interesting, memorable long weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

  9. Having dinner with my 2 sons, their wives, my granddaughter, my sister, her daughter, grand daughter, her daughter’s fella, my sister’s ex husband, our dogs (fortunately all three are small!) at our parents’ (no longer bodily with us) home. It’s usually loud and crazy and we have a grand time!

  10. We’re visiting family in warm Florida! Quite the opposite of hygge but I don’t mind soaking up the sun before some cozy time back home in Oregon.

  11. I’m actually in Germany with my fiance, so I’m planning to make some of my favorite dishes for his family to give them a taste of one of my favorite holidays. I can’t wait!

  12. Your favorite things look so snuggly and fun! Staying in Oklahoma this Thanksgiving, spending time with husband’s cousins!

  13. I’m flying from SoCal to TN to visit family. It will be my 6 year old’s first time meeting my sister and cousins!

  14. For Thanksgiving this year, I’m planning to bake pies with my daughters to take to my in-laws house for Thanksgiving dinner. My side of the family decided they want to drive out of town to a certain fancy restaurant that serves Thanksgiving dinner instead of preparing a feast, so I may just drop them off a pie afterward. 🙂

  15. We purchased a meal from a local Amish restaurant so our Thanksgiving is going to be as stress free as possible. Woohoo! 🙂
