Now that Halloween is over, let’s focus for a few weeks on Thanksgiving! I know most of the world, and especially the blogosphere, jump straight from Halloween to Christmas, but I think Thanksgiving is a sweet holiday that isn’t over-commercialized, but focuses instead on family and gratitude. And food! What self-respecting food blogger doesn’t jump at the chance to talk about food?! So, for the next few weeks I’ve got some great Thanksgiving recipes to share with you. Some are old favorites in need of a make-over, some are new favorites that are sure to become family standards. All of them are easy to make and focus on fresh flavors and fast preparation. I’ll see you back here Monday for the first recipe in the Thanksgiving, Fast & Fresh series!

Excited for this series! Thanksgiving is actually my favorite holiday — low stress and centered around food. What could be better? And that photo is so mouthwateringly good. Your lucky, lucky family must be happy to be getting Thanksgiving dinner more than once!
Hey Joy! My family loved it! And I have to say, I cooked the whole meal in that photo on a Monday night, and wasn’t stressed at all!
I’m cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year, so I’ll be tuned into your series! It was great meeting you tonight at the PNW Blogger Holiday Party and I’ve added your blog to my reader!
Great meeting you too, Melinda! Good luck with Thanksgiving dinner!
I can’t wait to see what great recipes you post. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday, and it’s all about family together-ness. Love it!

Hi Kim! I love Thanksgiving too, and poor holiday, it always gets overlooked!
It was so lovely to meet you last night! I just started skimming your blog and OH WOW! I think I’ve put on 3 lbs. in the last 3 minutes. Your pics are GORGEOUS and everything sounds AMAZING!
So nice meeting you too, Nanette! Aren’t we lucky we don’t gain weight looking at food, lol! Thanks for stopping by. š
