I have a really delicious treat to share with you today! It’s one of my family’s favorite desserts, and has even on occasion been requested by relatives who are visiting from out of town. I’ve heard it called lots of different things, but we’ll call it Hawaiian Party Cake because it’s full of the flavors of the tropics, and because it’s basically a party in a pan! Hawaiian Party Cake starts with an easy step: make your favorite yellow cake mix. When the cake comes out of the oven, cover it with a topping of sweet and sticky crushed pineapple, and layers of vanilla pudding, sweetened whipped cream, and toasted coconut after it cools. It is over-the-top amazing, and the perfect dessert for luaus, summer cook-outs, and family dinners.
You can find the recipe on my latest post for Oriental Trading Co’s site, Fun365. And for more of my favorite cake recipes, check out the recipe archives HERE.
