Sea Salt Business Cards for Alt Summit

sea-salt-alt-summit-business-cards

It has been two solid months since I attended Alt Summit in Salt Lake City at the beginning of the year, and I can’t believe I’m just now posting pictures of my business cards! The business cards that get handed out at Alt Summit every year are really spectacular, ranging from gorgeously thick letter-pressed cards with painted edges to little handmade gifts to works of art. Last year, I handed out color-dipped wooden spoons that I had hand-dipped in glossy, sunshiny yellow paint and tied to my cards. People loved them, which was fantastic, and I realized that I wanted this year’s cards to be equally creative and well-received. I originally had vague ideas of handing out spices in tiny packages, and after many, many, many revisions, endless materials research, and lots of back and forth, I ended up with these little cork-topped glass vials filled with sea salt, with my name and info on the self-printed label. I’m so pleased with how they turned out, and they were just as fun to hand out as I had hoped! All of the links to the materials and supplies I used are listed below, and it’s a mercifully short and inexpensive little list:

4-dram glass vials with cork stopper from SKS Bottles & Packaging
Sonoma Coarse Sea Salt from SaltWorks
printable brown kraft labels from Online Labels
