Dream House Update: How to Plant a Front Porch Container

thrill fill spill how to plant front porch garden urns

We had quite the warm, sunny March here in Oregon! We don’t usually see much sunshine this early in the year, but last month had weeks and weeks of beautiful, balmy weather and blue skies. Thanks to the fabulous weather, I’ve been itching to replant the big urns flanking my front door, and finally had time to tackle them over Spring Break. Using a tried-and-true method for planting knock-out containers, I got my urns looking amazing and totally Spring-appropriate in no time. Wanna know the secret? You can find the fool-proof recipe for beautiful front porch planters on my latest post for BHG Style Spotters. And if you need a little front porch inspiration, check out my round-up of a dozen gorgeous container gardens.
