  1. Lovely giveaway! thank you!
Plans are to be home with loved ones, knit, eat yummy food and marathon through Harry Potter movies 🙂
    Have a great one!

  2. This year we’ve decided to stay home for Thanksgiving. Sometimes the holidays become overwhelming so it’s fun to make a nice family meal then gather around in the living room with blankets and a movie (or football!) and relax for the day. Then maybe over the weekend we’ll do a staycation so my daughter can swim in a hotel pool 🙂

  3. We’re doing an afternoon/evening long get together with my family. we’ll eat our meal early then just hang out most of the day together… then we always get out leftovers for turkey sandwiches and more pie

  4. We live hours away from family and both have to work the next day so we’ll be having our own little Thanksgiving at home before heading to family over the weekend.

  5. Lovely choices, with the weather turning suddenly frigid where I live, I would love these warm and cozy things, thank you for the chance to win!

  6. I will be hosting Thanksgiving for our family here. Looking forward to all being together. Great choice for your give away.

  7. Ooh what a pretty color palette you have going on here!

I’m headed to my parents’ for Thanksgiving – along with 27 of my relatives! I’m lucky that I get to have immediate family, extended family, and even in-laws all in one place 🙂

  8. What a fun giveaway – thank you!! My Thanksgiving plans are the same every year – visit Mom and Dad, eat too much, and laugh even more! 🙂

  9. I do Thanksgiving with my in-laws, mom and sister, and we always do “Pajama Thanksgiving”, so everyone wears their coziest or silliest PJs and we make gingerbread houses after dinner!

  10. We are going to my mother in law’s for a big feast with the family! I absolutely love getting together with them.

  11. This is the first year I am hosting Thanksgiving with my family. It is potluck style so it does take some stress off my plate-especially since I am in the middle of a cold!

  12. I totally plan on hibernating and enjoying some quality snuggling with my newborn. I may go downstairs for some hot rolls and butter.

    1. I had a Thanksgiving newborn 3 years ago! He was just a few days old, and my in-laws made dinner and brought it over to our house. This year, he actually turns 3 on Thanksgiving!

  13. My family will be spending Thanksgiving with my parents this year. They are local, so no traveling for us. Thank for the beautiful items in this giveaway! Happy holidays!

  14. My in-laws are coming to town and we might be hosting Thanksgiving at our house for the first time! I’m weirdly excited and equally terrified at the same time!

  15. This is the first year in a while I can have a full day of celebrating. I worked retail and always had to work Thanksgiving into black friday overnight. Not this year due to a job change and getting lucky with holiday rotation. I’m excited to help fill the house with wonderful smells, have all the nephews and sisters over and watch the parade.

  16. Super cute giveaway, thank you!
We’re hosting Thanksgiving for the husband’s side of the family, which is always fun because there’s a lot of them & a lot of good cooking skills! ^_^ They’re wonderful people who make way too much food, & then decide it’s easier to leave the leftovers with me then to try to take them back to their house. What a beautiful holiday.

    1. Haha, that’s how my husband’s family is too. They’re like, “We’ll just leave this entire sheet cake with you guys.”

  17. Thanks for the giveaway! For Thanksgiving I’m going up to visit my parents in Maine. Before then, I’m doing a huge project for my students. I have a lot of work to do over the next few days

  18. I’m in Canada, so our Thanksgiving has already passed… But I’m excited to start planning for Christmas, and might spend the next couple weekends finding goodies to put in our advent calendar. I hadn’t heard much about Hygge until my dad mentioned it to me the other day. Now I have a new obsession… 🙂
Thanks for being a part of the giveaway, I’m glad that it has brought me to your blog!

  19. My thanksgiving plans are spending the holiday with my fiancé’s family! His grandfather isn’t in the best of health so the whole great big family is going to his house ☺️

  20. I will be with my entire family – enjoying a meal my mom makes every year – that we are not allowed to help with, haha. It’s always so amazing.

  21. We’ve already had Thanksgiving up here in Canada, and it was lovely. A large meal with all of the fixings for my hubby and our two kiddos. I could easily skip the turkey and just have pumpkin pie!

    1. My husband would probably agree with you! He insists on making two pumpkin pies every year, and usually ends up gladly eating most of it himself.

  22. I am going to start prepping for Thanksgiving on Monday this coming week. My cousin has the meal at her house and I help prepare it every year. But I pick up the turkey from the farm on Wednesday. Excited!

  23. Wonderful giveaway! We just love being home, relaxing, watching the Macy’s parade together, and enjoying our meal…that we start cooking the day before!

  24. We got lots of family so the plan is for everyone to bring a side dish to Gma’s it’s always the same and always great! After the festivities at Gma’s we will load up the Gbabies and head to the Christmas tree farm. We will all run through the trees and search for the most perfect tree! We cut it take it home decorate it , the house inside and out while playing and singing Christmas music. Then snacks! Then movies!

  25. For Thanksgiving, my whole family is flying all across the country to spend the holiday with us here in New England! We are thrilled and have spent the last few months making our house as welcoming as possible!

P.S. I bought those socks from Target, too! Great minds and all that.

  26. I’m taking my parents to my sister’s house, we are getting back from a trip the night before so it will be the first time I’m not making something.

  27. So fun!! We are planning to host 22 family members on my husbands side!! We have everyone bring a dish so we aren’t swamped with it all. 🙂

  28. We’re going to try and keep things simple this year, which can be difficult when you have a child from a separated household! We plan to go to my partner’s mother’s house, where all of our other loved ones will be as well. We usually try to volunteer somewhere as well, spreading the love is what the holidays are alllll about! And I have to admit, I get super excited to cook and bake for everyone, while they’re all excited to eat! 😛

  29. We’re hosting Thanksgiving in our home for the first time! Plans for the week include cleaning, rearranging furniture, and being up to our ears in mashed potatoes and apple pie. XD

  30. I’m not sure yet about Thanksgiving plans this year, which is strange….

I enjoyed helping my aunt host a summer solstice gathering of Norwegian friends back in June using your Scandinavian Gatherings book as inspiration!

  31. Going camping for Thanksgiving….it’ll probably rain the whole time but my children love it!!!

    Hi Melissa!!!!

      1. Doing wonderful!

Many congrats to you! I read your Rachel Ray post….your kitchen is amazing, your children are darling!

Your book is on my cmas wish list….so excited for it!

  32. Spending Thanksgiving at home with family. Love this giveaway! Thank you for the cardamom bread recipe, my grandmother used to make this for Christmas every year, everyone always looked forward to it!

  33. My husband’s family does Thanksgiving big! So we’re headed to VA and have family joining us from CA even! It’s gonna be one big party!

  34. Putting on my biggest hosting hat yet for my husband’s parents, his sister and her two girls! Should be an interesting, memorable long weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

  35. Having dinner with my 2 sons, their wives, my granddaughter, my sister, her daughter, grand daughter, her daughter’s fella, my sister’s ex husband, our dogs (fortunately all three are small!) at our parents’ (no longer bodily with us) home. It’s usually loud and crazy and we have a grand time!

  36. We’re visiting family in warm Florida! Quite the opposite of hygge but I don’t mind soaking up the sun before some cozy time back home in Oregon.

  37. I’m actually in Germany with my fiance, so I’m planning to make some of my favorite dishes for his family to give them a taste of one of my favorite holidays. I can’t wait!

  38. Your favorite things look so snuggly and fun! Staying in Oklahoma this Thanksgiving, spending time with husband’s cousins!

  39. I’m flying from SoCal to TN to visit family. It will be my 6 year old’s first time meeting my sister and cousins!

  40. For Thanksgiving this year, I’m planning to bake pies with my daughters to take to my in-laws house for Thanksgiving dinner. My side of the family decided they want to drive out of town to a certain fancy restaurant that serves Thanksgiving dinner instead of preparing a feast, so I may just drop them off a pie afterward. 🙂

  41. We purchased a meal from a local Amish restaurant so our Thanksgiving is going to be as stress free as possible. Woohoo! 🙂
