Apron Giveaway!!

Comments are now closed!  Congratulations to comment #20, Dave and Teresa!  I’ll be emailing you shortly.  Thanks for participating everybody.

Something kind of exciting has been going on here on Lulu the Baker lately.  You regular readers–all 2 of you ;)–might not know this, but the Cheesy Vegetable Chowder recipe I posted a few weeks ago has been taking Pinterest by storm for a little while now!  The recipe has been getting a few thousand page views a day, and I got a comment this afternoon from someone who saw it on the Today Show’s pin board!  Just before Thanksgiving, my all-time page views hit the 100,000 mark (which might seem like small potatoes to some, but makes me smile from ear to ear!), and to celebrate, I’m giving away a cute little apron from my Etsy shop.  If you win, you’ll have your choice of a sassy half apron or a flirty full apron, all in fun designer fabrics.  Click HERE to see all of the available aprons.

To enter the give-away, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post.  Make sure you include your email address so that I can contact you if you win.  The give-away will be open for a week, so I’ll post a winner Friday, December 9th.

Thanks everybody, and Pin On!

  4. I just found your blog from Pinterest and can’t wait to try your Cheesy Vegetable Chowder recipe. We are always looking to get more veggies in our diet and it’s so cold lately that it would be perfect.

  5. …Hello, I came here via Pinterest, [ahem] my latest addiction. šŸ˜®

…This recipe looks and sounds phenomenal! Am putting this on my Must Make List. :o)

…Thank you for the giveaway – your aprons are adorable!

    …Blessings :o)

  6. Ever since one of my friends introduced me to the world of Pinterest, I’ve been hooked! On my Christmas list I’m asking for a crock pot and have been at the office all day pinning and writing down great soup recipes. I L-O-V-E broccoli cheddar soup and thought this was a great twist. I can’t wait to try it out! Wearing a cute apron while I cook my new soups would be such a nice addition too!

  7. This soup looks amazing! I am very pregnant (3 days overdue actually) and have been searching for recipes easy enough to make once the baby arrives and this seems perfect! Thanks for posting and allowing us pinners a chance to explore your blog! šŸ™‚

  8. I pinned this soup about 2 weeks ago and always kept it in the back of my mind. Well today is the day! I’m making it. When I referred to my pin today for the recipe I saw you have this great give away. Thanks for the recipe.

  9. Kim–I think you could for sure use veggie broth instead chicken broth. I don’t think it would even affect the flavor of the soup much because it gets so much flavor from the sauteed veggies. Best of luck!

  10. Lulu! A couple weeks ago my husbands parent’s (Lolo and Lola, Filipino for Grandpa and Grandma) stopped by – your soup was just about done and they ended up staying for dinner. My father-in-law rated it 10/10 [with three sons everything is a contest in their house ;)]…made it for my sister-in-law after her 2nd baby and have some in the freezer for finals next week. We lovvvve it. šŸ˜‰

  11. I had pinned your recipe a few days ago knowing that it was going to be yummy so now here I am writing down the recipe and the ingredients so I can go to the store. I can’t wait to make this for the family now that it’s getting pretty chilly here in DFW!

  13. I saw the recipe on Pintrest and was very intrigued by it. I love Broccoli and Cheese soup but love the idea of more vegetables. I will be making it this weekend and I am sure I will love it, I just hope my picky husband will give it a chance šŸ˜€
