One of our favorite desserts is warm chocolate chip cookies topped with ice cream, and this giant cookie made in a cast-iron skillet is the easiest no-fuss way to get there!
Instead of baking individual cookies on a baking sheet, simply press store-bought chocolate chip cookie dough into a skillet, bake it, and top the warm cookie with your favorite ice cream flavors and sundae toppings. You can scoop out individual servings or just dig in to the skillet itself!
Easy Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie
This skillet chocolate chip cookie is a delicious dessert that is easy enough to make at a moment's notice thanks to storebought ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 16.5-oz tube pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough
- your favorite flavors of ice cream
- sundae toppings like chocolate syrup, hot fudge sauce, caramel sauce, etc
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 10" cast-iron skillet with nonstick baking spray.
- Remove the cookie dough from the packaging and pressly it evenly in the bottom of cold skillet to make 1 big cookie. Bake the cookie for 20 minutes.
- Let the cookie allow to cool for about 5 minutes before topping with ice cream, syrups, and sauces. Eat immediately!
