In case you missed the announcement earlier in the week, my family is building our Dream House! It’s a project we’ve spent years preparing for, and we finally broke ground a little over a month ago; things are finally happening! We’re thrilled at the prospect of living on a little bit of land out in the country, with room to run and play and cook and craft. I’m writing about the whole journey, the good and the bad, on the Style Spotters blog on BHG.com! My first post went live on Tuesday, and I’ll be posting every month until the house is finished; I’d love for you to follow along! You can find it by clicking here.
I am so excited for you! And for me because I get to “be there with you” even when I’m not there with you!
Thanks, Alexandra! You guys should come visit sometime!
We would love to visit! We’ll be taking you up on that offer…
So exciting! Congratulations!! You can be sure I’ll be following along on BHG.
Thanks, Jen!
Wow! Congratulations! My parents built our house from the ground up when I was a kid. It took a couple years for it to be move-in ready because they did a lot of the work themselves! My sisters and I spent every weekend out there with them. I have such great memories of those couple of years and the whole process taught me a ton about building and architecture. No wonder I became a landscape architect. š I’m looking forward to reading about how your home progresses on BHG!
Hi Casey! That’s exactly what we want for our kids (and someday, grandkids!) with this house–lots of good memories!
Congratulations! What an exciting journey for you and your family. I will definitely follow along and can’t wait to see all the progress. =0)
Thank you so much! We’re very excited!
