Make this easy, 4-ingredient cheese ball for your next holiday party! It’s super easy to make, tastes delicious, and is a big hit with everyone.
I don’t know about you guys, but we have so many holiday parties to go to this year! We have one tonight, one on Saturday, one on Monday, one on Tuesday… And we have to bring something delicious to each one. I have a huge sweet tooth, but I feel like everyone brings sweet treats to holiday parties, so I like to bring something savory.
My go-to holiday appetizer is homemade cheese ball with lots of tasty crackers on the side. Cheese balls are so easy to make, and they always taste amazing. I have a few cheese ball recipes that I love. One of my favorites has pineapple, pecans, and green bell peppers. I used to hate it as a kid, but now I can’t get enough of it. I think about it all year! You can find the recipe on an old blog post HERE.
Another favorite cheese ball recipes comes from my grandma, Nana, and my family practically inhales it every time I make it. It has minced salami and green onions, and is so easy to make—it only has four ingredients!
Salami Cheese Ball
Make this easy, 4-ingredient cheese ball for your next holiday party! It's super easy to make, tastes delicious, and is a big hit with everyone.
Ingredients
- 3 8-oz bricks cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz salami, finely chopped
- 1 1-oz packet ranch dressing mix (the powder)
- 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped, divided
Instructions
- Combine the cream cheese, salami, ranch mix, and the white and light green parts of the onion. Mix with a spoon or a pair of clean hands until well combined. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- To serve, unwrap the cheese ball, put it on a serving plate, top it with the darker green parts of the chopped green onion, and serve with crackers or baguette slices.
Notes
This makes a really big cheese ball! If you want, you can cut the recipe in half and make 1 smaller cheese ball, or make the full recipe and form it into two smaller cheese balls. The cheese ball in the photos is half the recipe, and it’s a great size.
