Peppermint Bark Thumbprints

christmas cookies peppermint bark thumbprints shortbread chocolate

My favorite Christmas tradition is making batches and batches of delicious cookies during the holiday season. There’s always another party to go to, or another neighbor who needs a gift, and homemade cookies are just the perfect fit for pretty much every holiday need. We love old stand-bys like snickerdoodles and peanut blossoms and molasses crinkles and sugar cookies, but we also like discovering new tasty holiday treats. I combined my love of shortbread cookies and my love of peppermint bark and made these scrumptious Peppermint Bark Thumbprints the other week, and I think they’re destined to become a new favorite! You can get the recipe on my last Design to Dish post of 2014 on Julep. Do have any go-to holiday cookie recipes? Share them below!
