Isn’t it nice that in the middle of the gloomy winter, we get citrus fruits to brighten our day? We’ve been enjoying bright red blood oranges, sweet, pink cara caras, and darling little clementines in our family lately; we’ve probably eaten 25 lbs of citrus fruit this month! Most we’ve just been eating fresh, which is wonderful, but when we want an extra-special treat, we make homemade blood orange sherbet. It is the most amazing thing! It tastes like sunshine.
