Is there anything better than a good Christmas cookie plate? I think not. I heard a quote recently about something not at all cookie-related, but I’m going to apply it to Christmas cookies: The good ones are great, and the bad ones are still pretty good!
Below are some of my favorite holiday cookies, old and new. I tried to pick really quintessential Christmas cookies for this round-up–lots of chocolate and peppermint, and spices galore! I hope you can find something delightful to add to this year’s cookie plate.

Thanks for including my Cranberry Bliss Bars (#15) – I appreciate it! And all these other links, just opened up almost all of them. Nice compilation post!
Loving your site and have best intentions in baking some of the cookies. My question is you had a link for Hershey (Ginger bread) house and I can not find it. Another one you shared the site for purchasing containers for gifting food, I can’t find it either. Could you help me out, here?
Thank you,
Hello Eileen! I don’t know about Hershey’s Gingerbread Houses, but Hershey’s Kiss Peanut Blossoms are on that list. The link seems to be broken, so here is the correct one: https://www.hersheys.com/recipes/en_US/recipes/5191/kisses_peanut_butter_blossoms.html
And it looks like the company that made those cute containers for the Gingerbread Cookies with Double Chocolate Chunks doesn’t make them anymore. Here are some from a different company: http://shopsweetlulu.com/collections/ice-cream-candy-cups/products/ice-cream-pint-containers
